Retro in Japan

Japan seems to be even more extreme than America in dumping and scrapping their heritage such as older buildings - and cars. Despite God-given luxury of not catching rust, at least in these south-west places, cars seem to be used only while mechanically fit from factory. Since they are driven generally less than american siblings, twenty years appear to be the life expectancy. Exceptions are Beetles and toki-doki Volvos Amazon (oh yeah, and MG's of course). So, when I saw a full-size Nissan Cedric circa 1960, it was a nice surprise. So seat back, view the pics and wonder yourself why it so much resembles a 1961 Humber, all the way up to the right steering (smily face).

Nissan Cedric Custom -

And, certainly, how could we possibly not mention this - ?

As the Nissan is staring at a boulevard hoping that the iron gate will once swing open before her,

it silently witnesses the flow of the youngsters, and this baby Jeep among them, defying "through-the-looking-glass" traffic with its steering doughnut stubborn-left.
